Camaraderie is about working together. We find achievable steps that improve digestion and reduce stress. I provide
the map — the direction is up to you.
Hi, I'm Shannon
I love learning about the body, the benefits of food, and finding ways to feel better. Yet, I often find the industry's message to be restrictive and un relatable. I’m offering something different.
Instead of rules, I give you the tools to make your own decisions. You know your own health and needs better than anyone. I simply help you achieve the change you seek.
This all stems from my own struggles with digestion, stress, and hormonal imbalances. Each practitioner had a reason, a referral, and list of things for me to do. It was never ending, and consuming, but most importantly I wasn't getting any better, and felt incredibly lost and lonely in the process.
I realized I was only doing what was asked of me, not what felt right. The lifestyle was causing more stress than the issues it was supposed to be relieving. So I decided to take responsibility, and started applying changes that fit my own wants and needs. Then finally I found a way to feel better, something I wasn't sure was possible before.
By offering you an understanding of what it's like to be on the client side of the practitioner relationship, I provide the level of help and compassion I wished I'd received. Together, we'll investigate issues that may have been dismissed or ignored, while making realistic and enjoyable changes that support your goals. Like me, you can feel better than before.
Nutrition is a complement
to medical science
Prescription and procedure are powerful interventions used for diagnosis and relief. But even with the highest level of medical care, the source of an issue has to be addressed or the body will continue to struggle. Food and lifestyle changes which support the body's foundational needs are key to improving overall health and long term function. When medicine is used alongside nutrition, internal systems are able to achieve balance.
Symptoms are connected
The small intestine has its own nervous system, and is in constant communication with the brain. When one is off, it not only directly affects the other, but nearly every other system of the body.
Recognizing the relationship between symptoms provides powerful insight toward identification of origin and avoidance of recurrence.
